Delivery Information
ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL CUSTOMERS ORDERING FOR USA DELIVERY
The new US Customs and Tariff regulations have come into effect from 29 August 2025, which means that all orders placed for delivery to the USA will be affected.
We understand that the only way for customers to avoid potentially sizeable administrative charges related to paying duties upon delivery, is for them to pay all Duty charges and related admin fees at the time of dispatch.
We are happy to ship orders to the USA, however at the current time we are only able to ship with Royal Mail postal service and please note that Customs and Tariffs Duty must be paid prior to shipping.
Once you place your order we will contact you about taking payment for the Duty Payment (for our shirts this is charge of 19% of the price paid, plus £0.50 admin charge by Royal Mail). At the current time, we only have the option to raise a PayPal invoice for the charges, and this will be sent and need to be settled prior to dispatch.
We will be continuing to investigate other delivery options and provide updates here as and when there are developments.
We will be contacting all customers requesting USA delivery and notifying them of the situation and offering them the option to cancel their order if they are unprepared to pay the additional duty charges. If we do not hear from a customer requesting USA delivery prior the shipment date, we will unfortunately be taking the decision to cancel and refund the order.
We always try and ship all orders within 2 days, however if you require your order by a specific date, we always recommend that you contact us prior to ordering, so that we can advise on our ability to meet your request.
UK Shipping
Standard delivery - Royal Mail Tracked 48
We currently use Royal Mail Tracked 48 Hour service, which is aims to deliver within 2 working days, however we are aware that are occasions when it takes longer, which is partly due to the increased number of parcels that Royal Mail are dealing with and issues relating to Covid.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 Hour Service - For a small charge we are now offering a tracked 24 hour delivery option with Royal Mail's tracked 24 service.
Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm (requires a signature) - For a slightly more than the upgraded Tracked 24 Service, we can offer our current fastest option for the UK; please note that Royal Mail are advising that this service is currently guaranteeing by 4pm not 1pm.
If you are concerned about your parcel arriving by a specific date, please contact us before ordering, so that we can advise on our ability to deliver on time and confirm if there are any alternative premium services we can offer at an additional cost.
Shipments outside the UK
Our standard shipping, for orders outside the UK, is by Royal Mail International tracked and signed service and we are aware that due to an increase demand for international shipping, Royal Mail's estimated delivery times are often not being achieved; some orders have taken as long as 2 - 3 weeks to arrive.
We offer a premium courier service for the USA, Canada and EU countries, using Parcel Hero courier service, which has access to all the major shipping companies.

Duties & Customs
It is a legal requirement for Salamander Shirts Ltd to declare the actual value of goods (excluding shipping charges) contained in all packages sent abroad.
Orders may be subject to import duties and taxes imposed by the destination country; any additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by the customer.
Customs policies vary from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office if you require more specific information. Please note that when ordering online you must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Salamander Shirts operates a fair pricing policy where all customers are all charged the same, regardless of their location, except for the delivery cost.
